When I got pregnant with my first child I gained so much weight. I thought that I could eat anything and bounce back, but boy was I wrong. I was not motivated to loose weight because I never had to before. I remember someone telling me that I would be "big" forever. I took that as a challenge lost the weight and fell in love with fitness by the age of 23. My journey hasn't been easy but it's definitely been worth it.
I love exercising and the challenges it can bring mentally. My favorite cardio option is the stair master and currently my favorite thing to train is arms. For me, I love how the human body works. I started with dieting and working out but not targeting certain muscle groups. I currently do not diet but just live a healthier lifestyle with no restrictions. I'm also into lifting heavy, gaining muscle, and cardio!
Nutrition goes hand and hand with the gym. In order to see results you need exercise and healthy eating. I love finding new recipes and serving them to my family to hear their thoughts. We have experimented and found some new options to add to our menu. My hope is that in sharing my recipes with you, I will inspire you to find your own love with nutrition.
